...These images are for sharing a memory of an event. So treat it as a photo album and share it with anyone who was at the event. "ibscure" is kind of my own thing and there are no links to these pages from the outside. If you like any of the pictures and want a copy, I will try to send you the original instead of these pathetic tiny JPEG versions... IMH.

Why do the pictures look like this? ... The pictures are sort of dark and have this warm color that is the result of taking them in dim light indoors and avoiding the use of a flash, which makes people seem so 'brilliant'. It's just become my style for photographing people, and the blurring is also part of the same effect, obtained by setting the shutter speed to a slow speed. It makes people seem alive and intimate, captures the real mood of the time, and I like how it looks. The original images are large (2 to 3 Mb) files that are not proper for use on the web, thus they are decimated down to these 30Kb versions for this purpose.
